Joseph Nicholson, Chief Operating Officer, Osokey
Joseph graduated with a geology degree from the University of Oxford, UK and a postgraduate masters degree in Exploration Geophysics from the University of Leeds, UK. He then joined the Exploration and Production industry with Shell where he remained for over five years with a number of global upstream geoscience roles before joining a privately owned international energy company headquartered in Germany. After a further four years, he moved to BG Group based in Reading, UK to work on global upstream datasets. For the last four years he has been leading cloud based data management operations at Osokey. This has included projects with BP, Chevron, the Greenland and UK governments.

Anne-Kari Furre, Advisor Reservoir Geophysics, Equinor
PhD from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in borehole geophysics. Advisor Reservoir Geophysics, Equinor ASA More than 20 years of experience with geophysical reservoir monitoring; more than nine years working with CCS.

Martin Storey, Senior Consultant,Well Data QA
Martin Storey is an independent petrophysicist and data management advocate with over 25 years of industry experience in the field, offices, tape rooms and classrooms internationally. He has mentored numerous younger professionals and actively promotes technical collaboration between disciplines and professional societies. An indefatigable advocate of rigorous, auditable and reusable work, he is a frequent speaker on well data quality. He was the inaugural Chair of the West Australian Leadership Team of PPDM for its first three years, the first such Chapter outside North America, and he remains an active member of the Team. He is an SPWLA Distinguished Regional Speaker for 2019-2020 and a recipient of the SPWLA Distinguished Service Award in 2020.

Steve Hawtin, Director, White Turret Ltd
More than 30 years’ experience designing, implementing and explaining data solutions for the upstream oil industry. Author of the book “The Management of Oil Industry Exploration & Production Data”.

Paul Gibb, Geologist, Data Manager, Business Development Manager, Petrosys
Paul has worked for E&P Operators and Subsurface Consultancies as a geologist and business development manager extensively in the geoscience interpretations and technology sector, where he has focused on application deployment, training and project management.

Paul holds a Masters in Petroleum Exploration Geology from the Oxford Brookes University.

Phillip Jong, Manager Data Foundation Design and OSDU Chair, Shell Global Solutions Inc.
Phillip Jong has more than 35 years of Shell experience and has built a deep industry understanding and proven management experience across the research and development roles which he has undertaken over his career. He has domain knowledge in seismic processing, interpretation, quantitative interpretation, production geosciences, software engineering, and data management.
His current role in Shell is Manager Data Foundation Design. Throughout his Shell career, he has visited every continent where Shell has an operating unit and truly appreciates the opportunity to interact with people with diverse backgrounds and interests. In August 2018, Phillip and Johan Krebbers initiated the OSDU Forum and Phillip was elected as the first OSDU Forum Chair in October 2018.

Phillip has a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Houston.

Henri Blondelle, CEO, AgileDD
Henri is a geologist by education. He started his professional career in the 80’s at the early days of the geoscience workstation development with BP then with CGG-Petrosystems.

He is the recent co-founder of Agile Data Decisions, an innovative company dedicated to Machine Learning implementation for Subsurface Data Management.

Kim Gunn Maver, Executive Vice President, Business Development, Iraya Energies
Kim Gunn Maver has extensive global oil and gas service company experience. He has a Ph.D. in geology from Copenhagen University and MBA from Copenhagen Business School. He was managing director of the seismic inversion company Ødegaard, when the company was acquired by Schlumberger in 2006. In 2009 he started as VP of sales and Marketing at the OBC company RXT and later moved to Spectrum where he served in various Vice President positions. Since 2018 Kim has work for Iraya Energies as Executive Vice President, Business Development. He has published articles on various technical topics and given presentations at conferences including on artificial intelligence and unstructured data.

Kwadwo Kyeremateng, Data Management Officer, Petroleum Commission Ghana
Kwadwo Kyeremateng is currently responsible for the National Data Repository at Ghana’s upstream regulator, Petroleum Commission Ghana. He is a member of the African Petroleum Data Management forum – a Norwegian Oil for Development (OfD) led platform for African upstream regulators and is the forum’s immediate past chairperson. Kwadwo previously worked in the gold mining industry, specializing in GIS and Database Management, with responsibility over the Africa region. Prior to this, he was a researcher in University of Ghana and a GIS analyst with Kent County Council, UK. He has an academic background in Petroleum Data Management from Robert Gordon University and Aberdeen University, and also has a postgraduate degree in GIS and Remote Sensing from Greenwich University.

Sunil Garg, CEO, Datavedik
Sunil Garg is the founder and CEO of dataVediK, an early stage startup specializing in Big Data, Data Analytics, Machine Learning and end-to-end Data Ecosystems for Energy industry. Prior to this, he spent over decades establishing and growing Data Management, Big Data and Analytics businesses for Schlumberger. Sunil has deep understanding of Oil and Gas data, Data Science & ML and uses the combination to build end user centric solutions. He is a member of several industry organizations and forums like SPE, AAPG, PPDM, SPDM, OSDU and Rice Alliance. Sunil is a sought-after speaker at various industry conferences and conducts Big Data, Machine Learning and Blockchain trainings for the Industry, the Government and the Academia. He is also an active angel investor and a charter member of TiE, an organization whose mission is to foster entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, funding and incubation.
